The Computer Science Technology
Department provides quality workforce training in the rapidly evolving field of
information technology. The curricula are both current and relevant to the
needs of local, national, and global business.
Students pursuing any A.A.S. in Computer Science are required to take two
approved technical electives (non-computer). Students may choose approved
electives as follows: ACC 2301 and ACCT 2302; BUSG 2305 and BUSG 2317; or
any two of the following: BMGT 1303, BMGT 1325, BMGT 1333, BUSG 1301, ECON 1301,
HRPO 1311, HRPO 2307, MRKG 1391, and MRKG 2372.
The capstone experience for most Computer Science Technology certificates and
degrees is ITSC 1380, Cooperative Education: Computer Exceptions are as
follows: Program Essentials Certificate, ITSE 1350, System Analysis and
Design; Network and Operating System Essentials (MS2151). |
